More than 28 million American adults smoke cigarettes. The CDC reports smoking leads to disease and disability and harms nearly every organ of the body. The habit is not easy to quit. This month is the start of the Great American Smokeout. The goal is to encourage people to take back their lives from smoking and help them be successful.
